- GGGodric GryffindorJul 26, 20221.0I recently went to have an Intoxalock installed on my vehicle. The fees and installation cost was supposed to be waived by NY State and the installer. Intoxalock had sent over the required Financial Assistance paperwork, as proof of the waiving of the fees. Allegedly no one had any knowledge of this, and they did very little to alleviate the situation. Despite an Intoxalock representative showing me proof of the email and paperwork in question. The install cost $302 of money that I didn't have, hence the Financial Assistance paperwork. They weren't very helpful, and did nothing to alleviate the situation. I only assume because they would have preferred to get paid right then and there.
