I had a wonderful experience with Mavis Port Chester. I brought my car in 30min before closing due to a low tire and the kindness and professionalism I encountered was incredible. The employees fixed my car right up and I am grateful for their time and work! Will definitely stop by again if I am in need of their service.

I recently visited Mavis for a flat tire and I was genuinely impressed by the exceptional service I received. Jeff, the associate assisting me, was professional, courteous, and incredibly helpful. He explained everything clearly and made the entire process smooth and stress‑free. It’s rare to find customer service this consistent and genuine. Thank you, Jeff and the Mavis team, for going above and beyond.

Mavis Discount Tire: where the repairs are temporary, but the frustration is permanent. They installed struts and shocks that failed in under 1,000 miles—impressive, in the worst way. Car became unsafe and undriveable. I got the privilege of paying $779 for emergency repairs somewhere else. Bonus feature: a “warranty” no one mentions until it’s time to deny your claim. Customer service was equally memorable. Multiple calls. Multiple promises of call-backs. No calls. At one point they even told me a manager had already spoken to me—apparently I missed that conversation. Final result: defective parts, zero accountability, and a denial from people who never bothered to contact me. If you enjoy paying twice for the same repair and arguing into the void, this is your place. Everyone else should run.

I had an awesome experience at this tire shop. We showed up right before closing with a tire issue, fully expecting to be turned away but instead, the team took care of us without hesitation. They quickly patched the tire, made sure everything was safe, and got us back on the road in no time. You could tell they were ready to wrap up for the day, but they still went out of their way to help, and that kind of customer service really stands out. Super кәсponsive, efficient, and genuinely kind. Huge thanks to the crew for going the extra mile when they absolutely didn’t have to. Highly recommend!

I had a very concerning experience at this Mavis location in Port Chester on Boston Post Rd. I brought my car in for a NY State inspection and was told it failed unless I replaced all four tires due to “dry rot.” This made no sense because my tires are basically brand new. To be sure, I took my car to another licensed inspection shop—and it passed with no issues at all. They confirmed there was no dry rot and nothing wrong with the tires. This feels like an attempt to push unnecessary and expensive repairs during a state inspection. That is very concerning, especially because inspections are supposed to be based on safety, not sales. After looking into it, I also saw similar complaints from other customers reporting being told they needed major tire or brake work that turned out to be unnecessary. (Trustpilot) I strongly recommend getting a second opinion if you are told you need costly repairs here. Very disappointing experience.
