  Rhis Safelite location is staffed by professionals that spoke that way and delivered a professional result. Their communications were punctual , accurate and the tech went above and beyond my expectation. Well done team from start to finish.

  Amazing place, everyone was friendly and very professional. Dropped off my car and went to go get some breakfast then a little shopping and before I knew it my car was ready. They also gave me some great after care advice.

  James was fast, polite, and thorough. I scheduled my appointment around 8:15am, after having an object hit my windshield on my drive to work. James contacted me via phone and text (when I missed the call). He was there by 10:15am and the job was done by 10:45am. He contacted me to tell me he was on his way with an ETA, then again when the job was completed. He gave all information needed, then asked if I had any questions for him. Couldn’t have asked for an easier fix for getting the unfortunate experience of a windshield crack on the way to work. Grateful and hopeful that Safelite appreciates their awesome employees, like James.

  With the reputation Safelite has, you’d think they take care of paying customers better. We brought my boyfriend’s Jeep to the Patchogue location for a cracked windshield in the beginning of October. They repaired it, paid about $500 out-of-pocket, no issues. After about a month, my boyfriend went out to his car in the morning to leave for work and his rearview mirror was hanging by the electrical wires and where the adhesive was applied, a penny-sized piece of glass was torn out of the windshield with it. That afternoon, he called up Safelite to explain the issue, they asked him to come down so they could look, and he did. The guy at the desk said he wasn’t positive if it would be covered under warranty, but he would talk to his boss and call us back the following day. We were never called. Boyfriend had to call THREE times (and we even had the customer rep we got try to call the office multiple times and they couldn’t reach anyone either). When he finally got a hold of someone, we spoke to a tech who argued it wouldn’t be covered and then they eventually got us to this elusive boss who admitted she was told about the issue, and we were STILL never called as we were told we’d be. They said there HAD to be some type of force done to the windshield to make glass chip like this and they would not cover it. We went to their customer care line next and were told they had nobody the issue could be escalated to (how a company of their standing has NOBODY a warranty issue can be escalated to is beyond me and a complete joke). The customer care line rep told us there needed to be a paper trail of us attempting a warranty claim, so we set up a warranty appointment per his advice for the following day with a five-hour window. Next day comes, three hours pass within the five-hour window and boyfriend finally goes to check his appointment status on the website. THEY CANCELED OUR APPOINTMENT WITHOUT CALLING AND FOR NO REASON. Safelite will never get another DOLLAR from us, what a complete wreck of handling this issue. We reached out to a local glass repairer who said Safelite uses CHEAP, after-market glass and they charge an arm and a leg for their shitty glass at that. We went with him from the glass replacement, and he charged $250 less than what Safelite was asking for. Let it be known that the warranty they have posted all over their website is a lie and they don’t stand by it.

  Although my original appointment was cancelled due to windshield not arriving, when it did arrive the wrong molding was sent. Phone calls from Safellite, the CSR at the office & the technician were all very helpful, polite & set expectations. I would definitely recommend the Patchogue location.
