- RGRaja Gopalan2 days ago1.0Not sure what happened but we got an email confirmation today for a minivan and then JC called and told us that the car was not available. He said that the next level car was available but he would not give it to us at the same price because the National reservation system made a mistake. We then decided to cancel and got a lower level car and again, he called to cancel. Apparently they had no cars available except the higher level cars but they would not give it to us except at higher and higher prices. Seems like an illegal bait and switch to me. Their excuse? We have to book 24 hours in advance to get them to honor a reservation. All others? The written confirmations dont matter even if their system permits it. Never been treated this way as an Executive Elite member in decades. Disgraceful.
