  Caution, the SUV price covers barely any SUVs. We paid the price for the day only to be hit with an additional $15 to cover our “oversized” vehicle. For reference we were driving a Sienna, no roof rack, no bike rack. The staff were nice enough and no damage but the extra cost was shifty.

  The Genesis GV70 is considered to be a Compact SUV as it’s combined volume is 160.5 cubic feet, it’s length overall 185.6” and seats 5 in 2 rows. My Genesis GV70 is registered with ParkWhiz, through which I made a prepaid reservation to park at LAZ Parking 20W 64th St. NY, NY on 20 May 2025. When I parked, LAZ took several minutes to process me as they took numerous photographs of vehicle, registered the Parking Pass and sent me a text message receipt. When I picked up my car, LAZ Parking informed me it was an “Oversized” and wouldn’t release it until I paid a $15 surcharge. The attendant said it was corporate policy and pointed to a list of “Oversize” vehicles typed on an 8 x 11½ inch paper taped to a wall. The Genesis GV70 was not included on this printed list. I consider this to be criminal extortion.
