I parked Saturday morning for an event at St Patrick's Cathedral, it is a decent walk, and got in the early bird all Saturday special. Nice find. Pedro, muchas gracias. Dcn John

After booking the reservation on the app, where there is no option to specify whether your car is standard or may be oversize (I have a normal SUV). I arrive and the attendants indicated everything was fine with the car and reservation and so I left it to be parked. When I return to pick up my car, they THEN tell me its oversized and there is an extra $18 charge. And they were rude with how they talked to me and my family about this. And they were not remorseful in not informing me that my car would be considered oversized when I arrived. Moreover they gave no accommodation when I showed on the app there is no ability to reserve as an oversized vehicle. Worse than that, the image in the app of an oversized vehicle is a box truck, so why would I assume my SUV would be considered the same as a box truck. I am fine if up front they tell me this is oversized and there is surcharge, but to hold my car hostage after the fact is offensive. This is a confluence of poor app design and a poor staff.
