- TLTimothy LaForestNov 13, 20251.0Where to begin...I had scheduled an appointment for an oil change and inspection on the Mavis website. I got a call from Mavis saying they already had an inspection scheduled for my appt time and asked if i could come in 2 hours later that day. I agreed to 12pm on Saturday. I get to the Mavis location and they tell me they have no appt for me and that they have no idea who called me (possibly someone from a random call center). They eventually agreed to get my car in for service. A little while later, I received a call saying there was issues with my vehicle. They said I needed the lower control arms replaced and alignment and quoted me over $1300. The car is under warranty which i told them. They continued to try and pressure me into applying for financing to pay for the repairs. I declined and only had them do the oil change and failed inspection. Because i declined to do the work with them, they scraped my inspection sticker and didn't even give me the 10 day temp sticker. I ended up taking my car to the Hyundai dealer and had the work done under warranty. Total scammers.
