  I had a good experience at Mavis Discount Tire. The staff was friendly, professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. They explained everything clearly and took care of my oil change properly. The only downside was the wait time — it took almost three hours to get the oil change done, which was longer than I expected. Aside from that, the service itself was solid, and I appreciate the team’s effort. If the wait time improves, it would easily be a five-star experience.

  I had a really pleasant experience at Mavis and highly recommend them. The customer service was excellent from start to finish. They were always flexible with my schedule and made it easy for me to come in and drop off my car. They work quickly, I’ve had multiple tire plugs done there for nails and screws, and each time they handled it fast. What really stood out to me was their honesty. Another shop told me I needed all four brakes replaced, but Mavis took the time to check everything and let me know my front brakes still had plenty of pad left and didn’t need to be replaced. They were able to replace just the rear brakes the same day. It’s hard to find a shop you can trust, and I definitely feel confident bringing my car here.

  Had an amazing experience here at Mavis shop, Melvin was very helpful, supportive and kept me informed through the whole process of my car being serviced and checked to make sure everything was done right .. great team here

  GOOD EXPERIENCE!!I had called bc I had two tires I needed changed. I already had the tires, so needed change tires and alignment. They were to schedule me for an appointment for the next 15 mins, which was great cause I was close by. Got there took my car in and started working right away. I did wait for an 1 hour and 15 mins. But as long as the job was the done, was happy.

  I have had mostly good experiences with Mavis when I’ve needed a shop in a pinch, although nothing replaces having a trusted local shop. We had to take our car here for service while travelling, expecting a similar standard of service, but were straight up lied to. Firstly, I had to initiate a call each time I wanted an update on the vehicle. Each time I called, I asked for details on what they’d found wrong with the vehicle. The person answering the phone was absolutely useless. He would disappear to ‘check’ with the tech and come back with an estimated window for completion, but could never identify an issue. When asked for more information, he would say ‘They’re looking at it right now, it’ll be on the service report.’ How do you know when the car will be done if you don’t know what the issue is? Aside from customer service that was lacking, we pointed out that our Tire Monitoring System had an issue. The on-board computer was only reading two tires, and seemed to read inconsistently. They said they would look at it. When we picked up the vehicle, the man at the desk said they checked it out and everything looked good. The service summary had TMS check (complimentary) with nothing to report. Got in the car, and the TMS error came on right away with no change. When asked if they took the car for a test drive after the oil change to see if it fixed the problem, the man at the front desk said ‘Oh yeah, we drove it around the parking lot.’ That’s not a test drive, that’s a lame excuse. If noises presented themselves over 40mph, as described, then the mechanic should try to replicate the issue after a problem is addressed, not by driving a few feet at slow speeds to move the truck out of the garage and into a parking space. Perhaps this experience is isolated to some staff at this location, but absolutely goes against standard business practices. They seem lazy and willing to lie to get your money and get you out. I question most reviews on here because I’ve been to a different Mavis that offered a discount if the customer left a 5-star Google review. Perhaps that’s why this location’s ratings don’t match the service we received. Steer clear, take your vehicle elsewhere. Stay mom-and-pop if you can.
