Terrible customer service at this rest stop. I left feeling insulted and completely frustrated. Last night I stopped in this rest stop at around 9:30 pm for coffee for my husband and I. My daughter and I went to the Dunkin Donuts kiosk as they were all lit up as if open, with zero signs saying they were closed. I placed my order for 2 coffees, paid and waited. As I was waiting a woman (said she was a baker) behind the counter noticed me and said they were closed. I explained how I already paid for my coffee and asked if she can just provide me with 2 black coffees. She said they were closed and the coffee machines were set up for the next morning and she didn’t think there was anything she could do. She was trying to find a DD customer service number on the receipt, but didn’t see one. I asked her if there was a manager who could help with this situation and either reimburse my money or provide me with coffee from one of the other restaurants that were open. The baker called a young woman named Elysia who I guess was in charge (although she said she didn't work at DD). She looked at me like she could care less and basically told me to call DD customer service myself. When I asked if she can give me a gift card with the money I spent, she said no because the registers were down. I explained how if DD was closed, the kiosks should be turned off as well. It’s a rest stop, I thought it would be open. She did NOT try to help at ALL and looked as if she was bothered by my 10 year old daughter and I. I understand that the registers may not have worked but if she would have made an effort and tried to help in another way (like bringing me a coffee from the other part of the service area that was open), I would’ve at least walked out with coffee. Instead she gave me back the receipt and sent me on my way. NO help at all. When I went to the self-serve coffee machine and paid for another coffee, I then received an error that the machine wasn't working and needed assistance. Clearly at that point, I was beyond frustrated, knowing I had to deal with Elysia again with a different issue. I received yet another blank stare and was told with attitude to “hold on” while she grabbed another employee to talk to me (and act as her bouncer I guess). I explained how the coffee didn't look right and the machine showed an error and he told me it was fine. It wasn’t fine, it was ice cold and terrible. So $10 gone and zero coffee for our ride home with two young kids. Customer service was unacceptable. I will be contacting Dunkin Donuts as well, as both my time and money was wasted speaking to these very unprofessional employees.

The Burger King at this location is so bad and the staff so rude that I will never eat at another Burger King for the rest of my life. I will stop here for gas or to use the restroom, but that's it.

The slowest “fast” food experience ever. 1pm Sunday only 2 people working at BK. Customers waiting on the “cash only” lane for 10+ minutes only to be told after flagging a worker down that they can’t pay cash (why?). We used the kiosk and ordered an impossible whopper and chicken fries; that was all. They only put the chicken fries in the fryer after I asked about the status of my order after 15 minutes. They clearly had no training about how to multitask when numerous orders come up. If workers called out sick where is the manager?? Get your butt in there. Most poorly managed establishment I think I’ve ever seen, no exaggeration. Next time we’ll just get off the highway and back on again. If I’m paying $10 for a fast food burger ($17 for the meal) it better be fast.
