Unless I got a technician who was lazy and just didn’t want to do his job I don’t know, but it was a total waste of money and my time. Had two chips in my windshield, one of which turned into a crack about 4 inches long. No worries right? Because safelite’s WEBSITE states that a crack can be repaired as long as it’s LESS than 6 inches. My crack is less than that. So I made the appointment, paid for it and waited for my Monday appointment to roll around only for the tech to come and tell me that because it’s larger than a silver dollar, it can’t be fixed and I would need a replacement which would be another $260 on top of what I already paid. Sounds like a scam to get more money right? Yeah. So don’t advertise that you can fix something when you can’t. Im getting my money back and they won’t get another cent out of me.
