- LCL CJan 5, 20265.0These guys were fast, friendly, and professional, knowledgeable. In what i feel was record time, they replaced my windshield and the in cabin filter (that was disgusting! lol). They were able to save my inspection, registration and maintenance reminder stickers, saving me an unknown amount of time, energy and money. I would absolutely recommend safelite glass to anyone needing a repair or replacement. Hands down, best service around!
- TMTina MoodyDec 27, 20251.0I set up a glass repair at my home. I requested the Plattsburgh location because it is closer to me. The morning that the tech was supposed to come, he called to say his vehicle broke down and I would need to bring the vehicle to the shop or reschedule through my insurance. I said I would bring it to the shop. I called the Plattsburgh location to let them know what time I would come and was told my windshield was in Massena. As you can imagine, I was surprised. After speaking to a few others in the area I live, others have had the same experience. They scheduled an appointment at their home and the day of, the Massena tech calls to cancel and says the vehicle would need to be brought into the shop or rescheduled. Very disappointed! I have scheduled my glass replacement with the Plattsburgh location and refuse to do business with the Massena location. Safelite needs to rethink where they have their locations covering. I'm 40 minutes from Plattsburgh and an hour and a half from Massena.
- MMmpmpDec 18, 20251.0Honestly they did a good job with the repair but they made an appointment between 8:00 and 12:00 never called me never showed up I went to where the vehicle was at 1:30 to pick it up and it hadn't even been done . This required multiple phone calls finally heard from the technician at about 1:30 2:00 I got my truck back at 5:30 . This was very poor customer service . The window was repaired however so far so good . I'm still waiting for their management to call me back so I can formally complain about making an appointment that they don't show up for . The the supervisor and the technician who showed up said that they scheduled too many appointments many hours apart and it can't be done that way and they don't have any control .. the upper management makes the schedule . I don't know what's true. Other than an appointment from 8:00 to 12:00 should get done during that time.
