  I called ahead of time today at 2 pm to see if they had any availability for state car inspection. I was told they did if I could come over immediately and there was only one car ahead of me. I was able to arrive 2 minutes after the phone Carl. I waited patiently for an hour and 15 minutes. At that time I checked back in with the front desk to ask how much longer it would take. I was told that they were going to bring my car back at that time. I sat back down to wait. After sitting there for 20 more minutes they came out to tell me they no longer had time today to inspect my car. It was 3:40 at that time and they close at 5 pm. Very discourteous situation.

  Brought my car here to get the New York State inspection done. Told me I failed the inspection due to my tires having a low tread. And said there were multiple other things wrong with my car, but nothing that wouldn’t make it so I didn’t pass the inspection besides the tires. They told me they could get me new tires that day, the same tires I already had on the car. Then they told me those tires are no longer made so they couldn’t actually get them. We finally agreed to buy tires closest to the ones currently on my car, and they said they would come in on Monday and would call me to come and get them put on. Well, it’s Wednesday evening, and they haven’t called. My inspection needed to be done in April Which we all knew, and I stressed about having it completed to them. Called Firestone on Sunday, who confirmed my tires were discontinued, but said they had the other tires I was looking for in stock right now and would put them on my car that day. They did the state inspection for me and said only my tire tread was an issue, everything else I was told at mavis wasn’t true. Mavis said there were issues with my brakes leaking and Firestone said my car was fine, nothing was concerning, and that my brakes were great, and that they get lots of people who come from Mavis locations who don’t actually have issues. Extremely aggravating to not have heard back from mavis and to have had them tell me things are wrong with my car when there actually isn’t anything wrong with it. I’m even taking it to my own family mechanic just to get another check that verifies nothing is wrong with my car.

  Mavis Discount Tire shop gave me the best and fastest service I have ever experinced before. My tire got flat on the higheay and I stopped by at this shop almost at their closing. I received an impecable service. I would definately return for ongoing service at this tire place. 100% recommend them.

  I previously had a bad experience with the larchmont store and was about to give up on mavis all together. Fortunately corporate had sent me to this location (mamaroneck). When I called I spoke with Irie, she was extremely helpful and apologetic about my previous experience.. she was able to get my problem solved in a timely manner, the very next day. She did what corporate was unable to do in a whole week. She’s a Rock star! Thank you so much Irie!!

  I had a great experience at Mavis Tire. I came in with a flat tire from a nail and was honestly stressed about getting it fixed quickly. Irie immediately stepped in and helped me out—she was incredibly kind, attentive, and efficient. She made sure one of the workers patched my tire right away, and the whole process was smooth and fast. Customer service like hers really makes a difference. I truly appreciated how easy she made everything, and I’ll definitely be coming back because of her. Highly recommend!
