  WARNING: BEWARE OF VALVOLINE. I went for an oil change at the Mamaroneck location and they cracked my oil filter housing. I returned within the week to complain that it smelled as if something was burning since my visit. They looked under the hood and denied a problem, claimed everything looked perfect. Within 10 days my car was smoking and completely covered in oil on the underside of the car. When I returned frantic, KJ the manager got under the car himself and upon inspection concluded that there was absolutely no oil leak present and it was in fact a major transmission fluid leak. LET THIS SINK IN: VALVOLINE'S EMPLOYEE WAS UNABLE TO RECOGNIZE OIL When I got to my mechanic to fix the ( non-existent) transmission problem there was no detectable oil on the dipstick. Only one quart of oil left inside of the engine. This was 3 weeks to the day after my oil change. In that time my car lost 5 of the 6 quarts of oil in it. My engine almost seized. The housing cost $1000 to replace. Valvoline has denied my claim. The regional manager, the highest one can go with a claim at Valvoline (and the guy who probably hired the incompetent guys who broke it) say over tightening the oil filter housing is a "national issue". So consumers BEWARE! especially if you have a CHRYSLER or JEEP because those are the names they told me . Valvoline will accept your car for an oil change, break it while doing so, but not be held responsible. I have never been so disgusted by a company before. The way they investigated my claim was inherently a conflict of interest. I have spent too much time on the phone with the managers while they spun story after story about why it happened. Let's see how they try to spin this review! USE YOUR OWN MECHANIC over VALVOLINE!!!!

  I was there a couple days ago to get an oil change and I always go there and I was lied to by the new manager MJ And he Refused to change the oil in my car and it was nasty about it and he was making up stories saying it’s pouring out but it wasn’t, I got my oil changed At another location and they told me that they should give me service. Also, there is An employee who works there and he was very nasty to me and he thinks he knows everything, no customer should be treated that way. This explains why there is a new manager all the time, and I used to work there and I see the procedure done and not everybody knows what they’re doing. They hire people with 0 experience with cars. I quit because I don’t like how I was being treated by the last manager who eventually quit. I come from a family where we are car experts, and I was shocked to hear That he was not gonna change my oil. This was not professionally presented to me and definitely was not true and there is a policy that they can refuse an oil change if there’s a leak but not if there’s a seepage, which is a very small leak, Yet again, I always go there to get my oil changed and there was a new manager. This time. This was nothing but discrimination and racial profiling.
