The manager called me and informed me that I needed a new front tire due to a cut on the inside sidewall. I asked him to order the tire for me. While the car was at the shop, they checked the tire pressure. Initially, I was told that the tires were unsafe to drive on; however, when I picked up the car, they said they had adjusted the air pressure and that the tires were not leaking. Mavis Tire did not provide a work order when I brought the car in, citing computer issues, and they also did not give us any paperwork when we picked up the car. The following Monday, November 3, my wife returned the car to Mavis Tire, where the manager stated that the wrong tires had arrived and that he would order new ones. My wife asked the manager to take a picture of the damaged sidewall, but he refused. Later that day, we took our car to a different local shop for an alignment and requested that they check all the tires for sidewall damage. No tire damage was found. The alignment was completed, and we were informed that someone had overinflated the front tires to 40 pounds.
