  I had called Monroe due to me having a flat tire completely to the ground on a ram 1500 I was able to have my truck towed to Monroe. Chris was so helpful to me. He was able to make me aware of all of my options although my tire was not able to be repaired. He was able to Make me aware of the promotion if I were to buy three tires I get one free not to mention this was all done after 3 o'clock on a Saturday. I feel so thankful that I was able to get my truck in and out in the cold temperatures we have in New York. You can't put a price on a piece of mind and I would like to thank Chris for that. Thank you so much now I don't have to play a guessing game if my tire will be flat when I go out for work in the morning. I recommend Monroe 10 out of 10

  Probably the worst service I’ve ever had, shame can’t do 0 stars. Had my wife’s brakes changed at Monro in May for ~$700. Ever since they’ve been squealing, really loud constantly. Brought it back several times and they haven’t been able to fix it. They’ve tried cleaning several times and even replaced the pads. Spoke to customer service and they suggested I take it to this Monroe to have the parts replaced. Provided those instructions and case number To the person work in the desk And since I was there figured I’d have my snow tires put on rather than taking it to my normal tire place. Went to pick up my car and they didn’t perform the brake service as requested even though the guy at the counter said the only thing it could be would be Is defective rotors. Asked why he didn’t change them and he just shrugged and said “my manager is not here”. If that wasn’t obnoxious enough, they charged me $60 per tire to swap out to my snows, which Is so crazy it’s almost funny. And the final added bonus while driving home, I noticed that my tire pressures were 42, 37, 31 and 26 So they couldn’t even fill the tires with air properly. Had to stop on my way home And sent them to the proper pressures. I typically gone to Monro for years, but this was ridiculous.

  I would not recommend this location to anyone. Upon calling for pricing I was told that tires to be mounted/balanced was $32.50 each. We brought our own tires to mount and balance, planning to pay roughly $130. When I cashed out I was stunned that the total was $228. They slid in a stem replacement, even though I had said my car was new. These can be purchased for just over $5 and the average garage charges $10-$15 and instead I paid over $80 dollars. When we questioned they informed us this was how they do things. Do not take your car here unless you want to waste money and be taken advantage of.

  Car handles MUCH better. No print out of the alignment, before and after...Paid for a 4-wheel alignment, didnt see any work done on the rear.

  Originally manager said around $1000 but it depends on if the rear converter is salvagable. Of course later I find out it wasn't. Then when I picked up my vehicle it cost $2300. Turns out the part (rear converter) is $1000. This day and age you can look up part costs and nowhere not even from the Chevy dealer is this part $1000 dollars. Most places showed around $400. Chevy dealer showed $630. Confronted manager on duty about this and asked him to show me where on the Internet is this part $1000. His excuse is he can't use cheap aftermarket parts or it will throw an emissions code. Like I said part from the DEALER is $630. Major upcharge in parts and needless to say I was not happy. For $2300 I should have gotten an entire brand new exhaust system not from the mid pipe back. LESSON LEARNED!! Do your research people, I will not be returning!! HOSED IN LOCKPORT!! Or should I say EXHAUSTED!! Btw my vehicle is a 2015 Chevy Equinox for anyone that wants to look up a rear catalytic converter cost. UPDATE: 4 days later and not even 100 miles since the service I now have the service engine soon light on. Went to auto zone and had the code read. P4001 an airflow code (emissions). This place is so BAD that I will not even give them a chance to make it right. Just going to bite the bullet and worry about it after I pay may credit card off or in June when my inspection is due as it says I can still drive it like this I just won't get optimal gas mileage.
