    Amazing staff, its where I got my first car. I had a friend help me with the first purchase. The second purchase I needed to make on my own. They treated me with such kindness and respect, staff are great, and incredible selection of cars .. secondary homess on hard times, and freedom on the good times. I would recommend this place to anyone.

    I chose Great Lakes Honda City because they had the largest selection of Honda CR-Vs available when I was searching online. Inventory got me in the door, but the people are the reason I bought my vehicle there and will continue to return. From the start, Cierra, the Product Knowledge Expert who assisted me, set the tone for the entire experience. She was patient, attentive, and genuinely focused on helping me find the right vehicle. She never rushed me or tried to push me in a direction I wasn’t comfortable with. Instead, she encouraged me to take my time and test drive as many CR-Vs as I needed until I felt confident in my decision. That level of patience is rare. Throughout the purchasing process, she maintained consistent communication and made sure I was informed every step of the way. Even after the sale, she followed up with me twice to make sure everything was going well. That kind of follow-through shows real commitment to the customer, not just the sale. Mike, one of the Sales Managers, played a major role in making the experience enjoyable and stress-free. He brought humor into the process and kept me smiling, which made a typically stressful situation much easier to navigate. More importantly, he understood my financial limits and respected them. He worked within my budget and structured a deal that made sense for me without unnecessary pressure. He ensured I received fair value for my trade-in and helped secure financing with a monthly payment I could realistically afford. There was no confusion, no games—just clear communication and a deal that worked. Chris, the General Manager, elevated the experience even further. When an issue came up that was not caused by the dealership, he stepped in personally. Instead of passing the problem off or avoiding it, he took full ownership of the situation. He came out, spoke with me directly, and made it clear that he would make things right. Then he followed through. He found me a better vehicle than the one I was originally going to purchase and honored the deal we had already agreed upon. That level of integrity is uncommon. On top of that, he personally reached out afterward by both text and phone to make sure everything was resolved and that I was satisfied. That kind of leadership reflects directly on the quality of the dealership as a whole. The entire experience was straightforward, respectful, and customer-focused. Every person I worked with demonstrated professionalism and accountability. There was no pressure, no confusion, and no sense that I was being rushed into a decision. Instead, I felt supported and informed throughout the entire process. I will be returning to Great Lakes Honda City in the future, specifically when I am ready to purchase a Honda Passport. Based on this experience, I have full confidence that I will receive the same level of service again. I will also be recommending this dealership to others.     I’ve been leasing with this dealership for the past 10 years, and my experience has consistently been positive. For the last 6 years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth Bilinski, Senior Product Knowledge Expert, and she continues to exceed expectations every time. She is incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, and respectful of my time—getting me in and out quickly without ever making me feel rushed. Her professionalism and warmth make the entire process seamless. Charlie Emmel, Director of Finance, was equally impressive. He was personable, clear, and made what is often a complex part of the process feel easy and stress-free. It’s obvious he’s very skilled at what he does. I’m also extremely satisfied with my new 2026 Honda HR-V Sport. The upgrades in this year’s model are fantastic, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The only part of my experience that gave me pause was something I witnessed during my visit. It was a 10 second exchange. There was a comment made to Elizabeth regarding her appearance for an upcoming commercial—specifically about dyeing her hair and essentially putting more effort into her appearance for the shoot. While she handled it with grace and professionalism, it left an impression on me. It MAY have been meant as an inside joke, but from an outside perspective, it felt uncomfortable and degrading. I'd like to add that I waited to see that commercial patiently-thinking of this short exchange and Elizabeth DID NOT dye her hair but her message was just as clear, go figure. Go girl 👏 🙌 That aside, my overall experience was excellent, and I truly value the level of service I’ve received over the years. I would still highly recommend this dealership, especially working with Liz and Charlie.

    I had a very frustrating service experience with Great Lakes Honda City. From day one, my 2025 Honda CR-V had a clear safety issue with the windshield wipers hitting the driver-side A-pillar. I brought it in multiple times and provided video evidence, and even demonstrated the issue in person using water. Unfortunately, my concerns were repeatedly dismissed or minimized, and it took several visits over nearly a week before the issue was finally properly addressed. During testing, I felt the process was not handled professionally, as demonstrations were interrupted before the problem could be fully observed. I also later learned staff were referring to me in a disrespectful way behind my back, which was disappointing. To make matters more difficult, the dealership phones were not working properly for several days, which forced multiple unnecessary in-person visits just to communicate and follow up. The issue was eventually fixed once the correct repair was performed, but the amount of time, frustration, and effort it took to resolve a clear warranty concern was very disappointing. I hope the dealership improves communication, respects customer concerns, and handles warranty issues more efficiently in the future.

    I have visited this Honda dealership multiple times in the past and always had good experiences. However, my latest visit was quite disappointing. After receiving a recall notice for the AC in my Honda Civic last year, I promptly had it repaired. Unfortunately, the same issue reappeared a few months later, but with winter approaching, I didn’t notice it until the weather warmed up again. Now, I’m dealing with hot air blowing from the vents. When I reached out to Honda, they asked me to bring the car in, only to inform me that the problem wasn’t covered by the recall. The service representative even cautioned that fixing the condenser might lead to further issues, and they quoted me over $800 for the repair, plus an additional $253 for diagnostics. This experience has made me skeptical, as it feels like a strategy to encourage more repairs. Consequently, I’ve decided not to return to this dealership, especially after encountering unhelpful staff members.
