After the second time you would think that Advance would offer you at least a store credit. No they will offer you another set of rotors so you can go through the trouble of installing them again, I am now stuck with a full set of rotors I will never use again and out over $400. Advance now known to me as Trail Behind Auto Parts. Found Detroit Axle (detroitaxle) on ebay, over a thousand miles on them and no problems, the ones from Ad. no more than 300 miles and the car would shimmy, and best of all the ones from Detroit are 1/2 the price. GOODBYE ADVANCE, and your uncaring manager in Liberty NY. (I know managers can make exceptions).

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
