When we got inside to fill everything out an employee named Riley has blown my mind with the customer service and overall experience. First, although your policy states that smoking in rental vehicles is prohibited and subject to a $50 fine, the vehicle I was issued had an extremely strong marijuana odor. This condition was present at the time of pickup, indicating that the policy is not being properly enforced and that the vehicle was not adequately cleaned or inspected prior to being rented again. Second, it appears that no proper pre-rental inspection or test drive was conducted. A simple test drive of even one mile would have revealed the mechanical issues I encountered. Renting out a vehicle without performing a basic inspection compromises customer safety and violates reasonable rental standards. Finally, I am concerned that employees are allowed to release vehicles in this condition, both mechanically and hygienically. This reflects a serious lapse in quality control and customer care. I request a prompt review of this matter and appropriate corrective action
