The last time was so bad they refunded my oil change and said they’d make “a note in my profile” that my oil changes are comp’d for life which I thought was really generous. I go in today to replace a new tire and figured I’d get an oil change as well. Of course, no note was in my profile so I opted out. I came to pick up my car and they parked it hard up against a bush. Now had I looked like someone of importance and or driven an expensive car I’m damn sure they wouldn’t have mistreated that car as such. I have scuffs and scratches from it on my front bumper. The absolute last time I am coming here. It sucks because I’m strapped for time and this place is close to home and work so it’s super convenient.

- CCCaden ChambersOct 27, 20251.0Mavis replaced my tires 2.5 years ago. During the job, they called me and told me that my brakes were unsafe and they strongly recommended replacing pads and rotors. They quoted me far above reasonable market price. When I questioned it (there were only 30k miles on the car), they insisted that they could not, in good faith, tell me that the brakes were safe to drive on and strongly advised replacing everything. I told them I wasn’t interested. I got a second opinion from someone I trusted, who said they were wrong. It’s been over two years and almost 20k miles since then and I’m still on the stock pads and rotors, with at least a few thousand miles left in them. Planning to do a full brake service soon, but don’t want to waste leftover depth in the pads until it’s really the right time. All this to say, be careful. They will try to use fear to sell you a brake job you don’t need. Just buy the tires and move on.
