I bought a blower motor resistor for my Ford F-150 from this location, and before buying it, they clearly explained that as long as I didn’t install it, I could return it. No problem there. When I ended up not needing it and brought it back—unused—they suddenly changed the story. The person at the counter accused me of installing it, and then the manager jumped in saying they don’t accept returns on electronics at all. That completely contradicts what I was told before the purchase. To make it even more frustrating, the same person who inspected the part during the return is the one who originally handed it to me. If they thought it was “used,” that would mean they sold it to me that way. The whole situation was inconsistent and handled poorly. I won’t be returning to this Advanced Auto Parts, and I’d warn others to be cautious shopping here.
