  Every other National location and experience has been exemplary. Except here at JFK. It's 5:30 AM March 10th, I just got back from a 10 hour flight, and there are three cars available. The car I selected was occupied by a large employee, who was sitting there charging his phone. When I asked to take the car, he drove off in it, returned 10 mins later, parked it, and continued to charge his phone. It was bizarre. Leaving the lot was another headache. No staff were present to check out, and it required me driving around the lot for another 10 minutes to find someone to help me. I was completely exhausted when I finally left the lot around 6:30 AM. The corporate customer service rep, Shawn, was hardly helpful and failed to escalate my complaint to someone relevant multipole times. A phone call to the IRS later that day was more positive and relaxing that what I experienced here at National.

  Highly recommend National Car Rental, I appreciate the smooth check-in and check-out process they have. Verses the last-minute high-pressure sales from other rental car companies

  National was able to get me into a car with no issue when my the other rental car company I had a reservation with had no cars. I had been traveling all day so they were able to take a negative from the other company and turn it into a positive. The rep was really great and helpful. Will definitely rent from them from now on.

  I had a great experience with my Chrysler Pacifica that I switched out as the first one wasn't registering with ezpass. I was helped by Morgan upon returning the vehicle as he gave me a free day back. I just was upset wirh gabby the manager on duty on apr 8th 2026 who gave me a worn out Chrysler Pacifica with 48000 miles and when I switched to another Chrysler Pacifica with 4500 miles she yelled at me saying you cannot choose any car..you have to choose th3 car I have selected.. and then said "Go go get out" instead of gently saying I will correct the situation.. I am the customer and she made me feel discouraged. However on return Morgan made it right. I just hope gabby doesn't yell at other customers as this could cause customers never to rent with national again. I pray that she improves her behavior. Otherwise national is always open to emerald aisle service!

  My recent car tental experience at this location was from start to finish excellent, smooth, professional. Workers accommodate to my situation. Very satisfied.
