    truly terrible experience. missed a connecting flight in Europe to get back to our home state, so we had to take a flight to JFK, rent a car, and drive through the night. our flight landed after hours, but our airline and Enterprise corporate ensured us the agency would stay open for us (other passengers as well). got there and they made a weird stink about unlocking the door for us (we still got there faster than the window corporate gave us to get there). just smelly attitudes all around, walking about all holier than though in their pleated khakis and lanyards. like go coach a jv league and get outta here. then, a car could not pass through the exit gates because they didn't have something they needed to exit. mind you, I'm the only car behind them trying to leave. instead of kindly pulling their car aside to let me through, they barricade me into their facility for an extra 30 minutes. i'm 7 months pregnant trying to get home before morning (4-5+ hour drive). a gentleman with the company said if I didn't calm down he would cancel my rental contract. shame on youuuuu!

    Wasn't a wait inside. The ride gave me a little problem with the check engine light. It came on a couple of times at start up and stayed on? So I just restarted. It happened again! So the 3rd clear. I guess it knew no more chances. Hopefully, no issues in the morning.

    Great staff, great service, very customer oriented. I appreciate the follow up after the rental. I can always count on Enterprise. Although every airport is different this location made me feel special.

    Refused to rent me a car after I said I’d leave a bad review. UPDATE: I called Enterprise corporate the following morning and filed a formal complaint. The representative escalated it to their management team and explicitly told me someone would be calling me back. That was several days ago. I have not received a single call, email, or any form of response whatsoever. The silence speaks for itself. Not only did this location strand me at JFK after 10 PM, deny me a prepaid reservation in retaliation for saying I would leave a review, and threaten to call the police on me — but Enterprise corporate has done absolutely nothing about it. I have since filed complaints with the NY Attorney General’s office and the Better Business Bureau. If you are considering renting from this location, please read the full review below and decide accordingly. I booked a one-way rental through Expedia (JFK pickup, 10pm) to drop off in Vineland, NJ the next morning. Nothing in the Expedia booking mentioned a $400 deposit for local residents — I only found out when I arrived at the counter at 10pm after already making travel plans around this reservation. When I calmly expressed frustration about the undisclosed fee, the agent became slow and dismissive. He then asked if I was traveling to Canada — completely irrelevant to a NJ drop-off clearly stated on my reservation. When the manager got involved, I told her I was unhappy and would be leaving a negative review. Her response? She flatly told me she would refuse to rent me the car. That’s not customer service — that’s retaliation against a customer for exercising their right to share feedback. When I attempted to take a photo so I could document who I was dealing with, she threatened to call the police. I left without a car, stranded at JFK at 10pm, with a prepaid reservation and nowhere to go. This is a consumer protection issue. I’ve already called Enterprise corporate. Do not book this location if you’re a local New York customer — you will be hit with undisclosed fees and treated like a problem, not a paying customer.
