She also helped me downgrade my vehicle at my request and issued me a partial credit/refund. I would like to note that I have used Budget rental at JFK many times and the customer service and professionalism shown at SIXT is in a class of its own. Overall was a delightful experience and Budget could learn something from watching them.

- ASAmeet Soni6 days ago2.0I returned my car and received a questionable damage claim from the JFK location. There was some dirt on the rear bumper and they are claiming the bumper was damaged for over $1200 despite there being no contact during my entire rental. What makes this worse is that I reported damage on the paint from a different part of the car that was pre-existing to the person I returned to and he reported us for causing the damage. So I had to go through a whole process to prevent them from charging me for that additional work (luckily I had photos). UPDATE: I called the claims department and they closed the claim. I appreciate the responsiveness though I'm still disappointed that I had to go through a whole process when the original claim should have never escalated.
- CLC LoveDec 17, 20251.0UPDATED BELOW: This place is a rip off. My son rented from them for months. However, they kept charging extra amd it was a back and forth with them to issue a credit. After finally issuing a credit. Three months later they charged the the credit card for $400+ after it was closed out months before. Now the headaches of getting the credit card company to file a dispute for a fraudulent charge. They will also charge you an astronomical amount for a rental. You need to constantly check what you are being charged for because it will become beyond belief how much you are charged. So disgusting how these companies will abuse you if you let them. UPDATE: Ok so after my review, I realized the location in JFK responded. However, it's not this location it's in Florida at MCO Orlando airport. He rented for months from them and issues beyond issues kept happening. I am the primary card holder on the account and don't play with unknown charges. Back and forth emails from them and couldn't get anything specific about refunds until I filed a fraud alert. Now after that was supposedly resolved. Here we go, months later charges on my card again. . Wdh. NOOOO NOOO and hell NOOO. I will not accept fraud and will go to the end of the earth to call it out. Right now my credit card is investigating this company.
