  You definitely want to go to the JFK Alamo branch and see Ron and the nice lady working with him. He’s going to hook you up and make your car rental that much more pleasurable easy and quick and prices are comfortable to the pocket.   Truly one of the best rental car experiences I have ever had, thanks to the superb customer service from the staff. There was a slight hiccup having to do with verifying my address via my Amex, which apparently is common, but the staff—Sophia and her manager Gabby— were especially transparent, helpful, and charming and worked to get the issue resolved very quickly knowing I had a wedding to get to! I also really appreciated the personal touch and VIP treatment of being led to my rental car by Henry who double checked the vehicle with me, and kept me from renting a car with a faulty key! I ended up with a smooth-driving VW and had a very easy drop off. Thanks to the whole team!

  After a good experience last year, they dropped the ball with my reservation this year. The manager sent me an email last year inviting me to contact them to book directly next time. So I reached out, and it takes 4-5 emails to get a reply. The area manager Tony asked the staff to reach out to me. When they did, Morgan reached out to help me with the reservation and was initially helpful. Then out of nowhere, Gabriella replies to the email and says they can’t help me. Tony and the rest of the staff then became unresponsive. I was polite and professional, wanted to give them repeat business and reached out to them directly as I was invited to in the past. The service has gone downhill!

  My girlfriend and I were visiting New York City for the first time to celebrate her birthday, and let’s just say , I wasn’t quite prepared for how intense the traffic and driving conditions would be! We rented an SUV from Alamo, and right from the start, the staff was absolutely wonderful and respectful. However, after taking the vehicle out, I quickly realized that driving through NYC traffic was going to be a lot more challenging than I expected. Within about 15 minutes of being stuck in a deadlock near JFK where i almost got hit twice and had close calls with angry drivers, I decided it was best to return the car. This was around October 21st or 22nd, if I’m remembering correctly. The acting manager or floor manager on duty that day, whose birthday happened to be the same day, was an absolute gem. She could tell I was nervous / shaken about the whole ordeal and was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. She helped process the cancellation and refund without any fuss, and her calm, friendly demeanor honestly made our day. I never caught her name, but I just wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude. She was the first kind soul to welcome us to New York City, and her compassion left a lasting impression. To Alamo upper management: if you’re reading this, please give this amazing woman a raise and a well deserved holiday for us! she truly embodies what great customer service should be. Thank you again for making what could have been a stressful experience such a positive one!
