When I first call, the salesperson says "Oh yeah, that's not correct, CarGurus doesn't post a correct price" and showed me a place on the dealer's site where that $26,999 is just the "financing price" after a $1995 down payment. This is already frustrating/shady as heck. Clearly it's NOT CarGurus that made that mistake...it's Empire Chevrolet. Then I ask the salesperson to send me over pricing proposal, and with the included $175 Dealer Application Processing Fee, the Reconditioning Fee of $2495 and the Dealer Fee of $695, now the price has gone from $26,999 to $32,359 before taxes or title. The only positive is that someone actually answered my email query? Run far away.
