- SSSHAH SIDDIQUEFeb 21, 20261.0My Optima battery which Is still is under warranty didn’t start in the morning. The battery was dead. I came into advanced, spoke to Oscar, who was nice enough to give me black gloves , tools and asked me to swap the battery because he was a little busy and bring it back inside. I came back inside with the battery that’s dead but had just enough juice to get me to advanced. Oscar was busy with another customer, so Eugene decided to check the battery and told me there’s nothing wrong. He then proceeded to tell me that I had to wait 45 minutes while he charges the battery which I did once I got the battery back I asked him since there’s only two weeks left for the warranty. What happens if I have another problem with this battery he shrugged his shoulders and said well if it’s not a warranty it’s out of warranty. That’s atrocious customer service by the way he then refused to give me a pair of black gloves to wear so my hands don’t get filthy and said they’d be a dollar. unlike Oscar who gave me gloves but those gloves ripped while taking the battery out. This has been a horrendous experience. I will never come back to this advanced. Maybe I’ll never come back to advanced as a corporation ever I’ll just go to AutoZone because they don’t treat me like I’m a piece of garbage.
