  This is the first and last time I will rent a truck from PENSKE. The truck at first seems to be ok, I didn't like the high mileage (almost 100k for a 24 hrs driving). Once I drove on the highway the steering wheel started to shake at 50 mph and pulling right. Then I called the customer service to complain and was told to take it to the shop about 30 mins away from where I was. Then I reply that I don't rent a truck to take it to the shop to be fixed. Of course this was road side assistance and I refused to go to the shop and demanded an other truck when called customer service again. The I was transfered to one of the main locations own by penke in west Babylon where I was told the will give me an other truck. When I got there this guy Ethan gave an other truck and told me it was good, when I left that place I decided to take it for spin and this truck was even worse, the steering pulls at low speed and shakes a lot, even the box was making a squeaky noise with the cabin, I turned around and told Ethan the issues and that I was driving over 1600 miles away that I needed a reliable truck, then I said to him to drive the truck which he did but just when down the block and agreed that it was pulling but it was no big deal. I said no that I was not feeling safe, also this truck had 95k on it. Then I called his supervisor and gave me an other truck with also close to 100k, but this truck seems a lot better. It has a little noise coming from under the hood but was told it was ok.Once on the highway about an hour away after loaded, the noise got louder, like the alternator belt was defective, also the charging system needle started to flip from 13v to 14v. Then it didn't want to start up after stopping for gas, I had to try multiple times before it did start, steering shakes at 65 mph had to hold the steering wheel hard because the drifting got worse with the load, the ventilation system works on and off, the cruise control disengage, the gas pedal was not responding multiple times whe I tried to pass other vehicles, is just like I had no acceleration so I have to back down. In other words a very stressful experience with penske trucks. Do your self a favor, DO NOT RENT PENSKE TRUCKS FOR TRIPS THAT ARE HIGHWAY ROUTES, an less you see a truck with less that 40k. You better go with UHAUL TRUCKS, I did the same trip the first time with them, newer trucks, low mileage and a 100 times better shape.

  I rented a penske truck here for 3 days. The truck was old but it worked fine. When I returned the truck, I filled up the tank at the gas station and the gas gauge was not working. When I returned the truck, I told the employee that the gas gauge was not working and that I just filled up the tank here. The employee was very rude and spoke to me rudely. I showed him the pictures when I first rented the truck and he was very rude and spoke to me rudely. He ended up charging me $95 more. I contacted the Penske representative right away and they said they would take care of it. I don't understand why Penske would do business with a place like this. They are very rude and disrespectful to their customers. They are also unprofessional. Penske, for your own good, do not do business with a place like this. And if you use this place, please take pictures of the evidence. Even with pictures, they only claim to be their own. Be careful.

  Returned my rented 16' truck. No problems. I rented it in FL Pricing is great.
