  YOU WILL GET TRICKED. make sure to get a receipt and invoice with the name of the service they did and the cost. make sure to get a name of the person who fixed your car and the person at the cash receptionist desk. if they ask to do a cash purchase make sure to double check because they use that as a tactic to not do anything for the car except lift it up to show that they are trying to do something but they do NOTHING. i went for a brake issue and they completely did not touch the car. THEY ARE A TIRE AND THAT IS ALL THAT THEY ARE GREAT/GOOD FOR. watch out for terence. plus a guy with a cap with grey beard about 5ft height and always smells like cigarettes and half of the time smoking a cigarette. not a morally righteous store. Even if you are honest and fair with them as a customer they out here playing tricks. even if there hourly rate for a mechanic is $160-300/per hour. it still should not account to being cheated on. mechanics have a skill that they can put to good use to make a lot of money rather than tricking people that they fixed something even though they did not. A BIG RED FLAG IF THEY ASK FOR CASH. also double check even if it’s a credit/debt card.

  they over book themselves and schedule you an appointment just to waste your time and when you show up for your appointment, they tell you they can’t take in your car. also, the staff members are nasty to you. don’t even waste your time going to mavis just go to another shop.

  If i can give a zero star i will That guy in the front is so disrespectful he had an attitude soon I walked in. they totally mess up my car. I went to a ACTUAL dealership and they said that they gave me used tires. I went up there, trying to see if they can fix the problem with no attitude and they immediately gave me attitude saying I needed an alignment, which was false. they told me to come back the next day and I did and they already had a attitude saying the same thing that I need alignment knowing that my tires were already balding in two weeks there’s no way alignment could do that, that quick and after I talked to them, they were all huddle up under the garage, talking about me very unprofessional don’t go here unless you want used tires on your car

  I came to Mavis on 10/19/25 for a simple flat tire, but the manager told me all four tires were “no good” and had to be replaced due to feathering. I trusted him and agreed, only to later realize how wrong that was. Just a month earlier, Bob Johnson’s service record (9/17) showed 6mm tread on all my tires, and I’d driven under 700 miles since. I even had photos before the tow — my tires looked fine. When I went back on 10/20, they said my old tires were already thrown away and couldn’t show me a single proof of damage. As a woman, this whole experience made me feel taken advantage of and dismissed. It’s an awful feeling when you realize you were misled. Please, get a second opinion before trusting this place — I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what I did. Edit: I just sent my car to Bob Johnson because it was shaking while driving on the highway. It turned out that Mavis didn’t do the tire balancing correctly, even though they charged me nearly $100 for it. I was able to reach the regional manager to get the issue resolved, and we’ve agreed on a solution, but if the job had been done correctly initially, this issue wouldn’t have happened, and I wouldn’t have had to chase corporate for a solution
