Fine. I need it done regardless. It's a busy Sunday. . So I wait my turn. After 2 hour wait, truck goes in the bay, tech comes out, tells me they can't patch/plug Load Range E tires for liability. Wasted 2 hours for nothing. #2. Early winter, needed two new rear tires. Called ahead. Was told the tires are in stock, and they could install them same day. Left the truck, was told 90 mins to 2 hours. Drop truck off. 3.5 hours later, no call, and truck is not even pulled in the shop. Even more time wasted. #3. Today. Need 4 new tires mounted and balanced on my F350. Call ahead. . They can get me right in. Tech pulls the truck in. . Comes back and says the lift is only a 12k lift. . And the GVWR of the truck is 12400, so they can't put it on the lift. Tried to explain to the tech that the 12400 GVWR on the door is the max LOAD weight of the truck, and additional cargo. Not the weight of the truck. truck weighs 8400 empty. No cargo in the bed. 3 times I tried to exchange money for services at Mavis, and 3 times they wasted my time with their incompetence. I understand they have liability policies, I get that. Each and every time, my year make and model goes into the computer. . they know it's a truck. They know it takes E range tires. . They don't know the difference between GVWR and vehicle weight. I'm glad most people have great experience with Mavis. I'm just not one of them.
