Today I had an encounter with Maurice who was unable to process my return because it was bought at a different location and also did not try to help me find the correct part I needed. He quickly brushed me off saying they didn’t have it, but I was able to find it on the website when I got home available for same day pick up. If you go to this location and see Maurice standing at the register I recommend turning around and walking out because his lack of help will frustrate you even more with your car troubles.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
