  On a Tuesday, I dropped off my car for an oil change. During the multipoint inspection, they noticed an issue with tie rods. On my way home afterwards, my car began having issues with accelerating (a lot like pressing the gas pedal when you're in neutral) and smoke blowing out like crazy. Very scary!! I turned around to have them take a look since this was not happening before my oil change. They saw that the technician had put in too much oil. They did another oil change and test drove my car to confirm it was corrected. I decided to take my car to the place that had done my tie rods earlier in the year in case there was a warranty. On Thursday, I went to the other place. The technician and service rep person immediately noted that my oil was leaking out. The plug was insanely lose. I watched it drip oil and saw it wiggle when the technician barely touched it before tightening it. This was the final straw for Monro. Before this about 2ish years ago, I had a rip along the side my tire from some kind of debris. It was quite obvious as it was on the visible part of the tire (the side I guess). I showed the technician and told him I wanted the tire replaced. When my car was ready, I was surprised by the low price but had been used to going to dealership prices so I didn't think anything of it. Throughout the day, my tire again leaked air. I took it back and the person at the desk said they had plugged the hole. I had no idea what hole they were talking about since that wasn't the issue I communicated. I also specifically asked for a new tire. They agreed to order a new tire but never called me when it came in. I called them about some days later to ask. My next interaction with them after the tire incidient was what convinced me to give them another chance with my oil change. I needed holes drilled into my front bumper for my new front license plate. They did it for me super quick and cheap! I appreciated it. So I tried their services again for this recent oil change. The pattern stands - even when the customer service is okay, the quality of work at Monro is consistently negligent and dangerous.

  I had to visit this store twice in about a week. The first time was for my Ford F-150, which had a flat tire with a large bolt stuck in the sidewall. The second visit was for an unrelated tire issue on my wife’s Bronco. Both times, the staff was courteous and helpful. I will definitely use them for future service.

  Went for a state inspection and they failed my car, then tried to sell me services including a new air filter and top off my oil both of which had been changed just a few days earlier. Went to a different garage today and my car passed. I can’t help but feel as though they tried to take advantage of me. Won’t be returning here.

  I went for an oil change. I was told it was done and they just needed to put the new oil in. 45 minutes later it was returned to me. Within a few minutes it seemed to get louder. I went home not really thinking about it. The next day it was louder and rattling. I took it to another place and $1100 in damage!

  I just recently had an appointment for a simple inspection/oil change. They couldn't get my car done before close even with an appointment so I was told if I left it with them then it would be done by the next day. I brought it back the next morning and I was "checked in" and told im set. I left and heard nothing all day. I finally call for an update over 6 hours later. They had no idea what was up with my car, had to call back, then asked me where my keys were and that they never got them. I asked why this wasnt done when I checked in or any time within the last 6 hours. They claimed since the keys were never received the order didnt print. So they forgot about me entirely after I left. I show up at closing time with a spare key I have and took my car because they changed their story multiple times, blamed me, and completely put me in a hard situation now. No working fab, no house key, those have to be replaced and im still without the service that allows me to drive my car so now im without a vehicle. I chose to put my trust in this business and ended up worse off. Do not recommend. Theyre short staffed and take appointments they cannot complete.
