I've never written a negative review on this platform, just because I don't believe in sharing something so negative in public, but feel so strongly compelled to give Exotic Car collections/Enterprise one because of the experience we had.
The pickup experience was great -- Asher was great in walking through the car options we had, we were able to pick out the car we wanted and were ready to pick it up on the day. Initially we had wanted to pick up one car, but apparently the car was booked and was not returned when it should have been, so we had to settle for another car. Which is fine -- we aren't too picky, were sympathetic, and understood nothing could have been done if the car wasn't returned. We took a replacement car. The goal was to rent it out for one day, but apparently they don't do drop offs for Sunday, so you would need to rent it out for another day. This was double the cost, but either way we were still understanding.
We came on the following Monday, and this is where their demeanor completely changed -- They wanted to charge us for a full extra day. When we picked up we asked when we should return the car, and what we were told was that generally in the time frame of the 24 hour billing cycle is when we should return it. The conversation was very casual, and no mention was ever made of an hourly rate, even after we tried to clarify. It was only mentioned that generally around the time frame would be fine. We were eventually able to negotiate it to them charging us for a whole 16 hours, which was ridiculous because it was only 2 hours late. We even filled up the tank to more than they wanted as an expression of good will, but that was definitely not reciprocated back. We received the tank at 3/16, it was supposed to be at 1/4th, and we were told to return it at 1/4, we filled it up to 1/2.
While it might be a good business idea to be nebulous under the guise of being friendly to customers when picking up about when they should drop off the car, since they can basically make nearly a full days car rent with just dropping the car off 2 hours late, it's not something the customers appreciate. The customer behind us also seemingly had the same exact issue, which was no surprise to us, since the tone change when dropping off to returning the car seem to be something they're repeat offenders of.
