  Todd was absolutely the best to work with. We had a great experience all the way around from purchasing our Kei truck to customer service. We had such a great experience we drove back the following weekend 3.5 hours one way to purchase a second Kei truck. They are so fun and we had such a great experience. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend HVNY Todd is the absolute best.

  Bought a Honda Acty Van they had on consignment, wasn’t expecting it to be anywhere near perfect since it was the cheapest thing on their lot and it was in cosmetically rough condition. But they did promise me that it would have a full service and any major leaks would be fixed before I purchased it. I ended up buying it and they did not perform a service, it needed almost everything done. Oil was pitch black, valve cover gasket was basically non-existent (spark plugs completely drenched in oil), air filter was nearly black and soaked in mouse urine, coolant level was below the minimum line, accessory belts cracked, and all four tires were at ~15psi (spec is ~32psi). I bought the van knowing it had minor non-critical issues which weren’t a big deal to me, but I was expecting it to at least be serviced like they promised me since I paid their full asking price for it. I contacted Todd and he said he would make it up to me by sending me a check to cover the maintenance they didn’t perform. A month later, still no check. I really wanted to like this place but it feels like I just got screwed.

  Forget the UTV, go see Todd. I bought a Kei truck with a Fisher V-plow from HVNY Imports and it is an absolute game-changer. It handles deep snow without stalling and the 60-inch plow radius is perfect for tight driveways. The biggest advantage over a UTV is the truck bed—I can easily haul my snowblower, shovel, and salt bags while moving between properties. It’s a dedicated snow machine that runs circles around my old UTV setup. As long as you can drive stick and right-hand drive, this is the way to go. Plus, the customer support from Todd is outstanding—he will go the extra mile to make sure that you are taken care of.
