  I used to shop here a long time ago for batteries and other items, and it was fine back then. I recently went in to buy a battery, and unfortunately the negative reviews seem accurate. The employees at the register and on the floor came across as unfriendly and uninterested, almost like they did not want my business. At first, I tried to assume they were just having a bad day, but they seemed perfectly cheerful when talking among themselves. The moment they turned to me, though, their expressions changed and they acted annoyed, as if helping me was a burden. I bought a car battery and was then told they do not install it, even though there were no other customers there at the time. I was even told not to buy it there if I wanted installation. I understand that installation is a courtesy service and may not always be available, but it was the attitude that stood out most. The staff seemed irritated and unwilling to be bothered, which made the entire experience unpleasant. Very disappointing.

  I'm a customer who loved going to this store in the morning, I I went tonight to buy something. It was 10 pm, but the door was open, and I assumed it was still open. The manager was aggressive and unprofessional. He treated me like an animal—you don't treat animals like that. He told me he would call the police, and I wasn't stealing; I just wanted to buy something. The coworker was much more decent and polite than the manager. He threatened to call the police as if I were stealing. He's racist, rude, and completely unprofessional. If I, as a customer, hadn't bought anything, they would have been closed, and he shouldn't be a manager. How can they have a manager with no professionalism? He didn't even explain or apologize. Only the young man who wasn't a manager apologized, and he was more polite than him. He shouldn't be working there because he treats customers like animals. I don't recommend the night shift. I'm disappointed. They should fire him and have him do it to them to see how it feels. Respect the consumer. I don't recommend it.

  Everyone here is so rude and disrespectful and did not want to help me because I’m a woman, EXCEPT for the mechanic and the mechanic’s translator who were very kind and helped me. The mechanic and his translator were the only ones I did not have to beg for help. When I begged for help to the Indians, Caribbeans, and the Hispanic guy with the braces they all said no because they saw I’m a woman. I felt patronized by them just because I’m a woman who doesn’t understand cars that well, but the mechanic and his translator were very sweet and kind who deserve a huge raise and a better work place than this degrading autozone

  Do NOT go here if you suspect you have a battery issue. The workers are lazy and want NO PARTS of assisting with battery sales or installation. A few months ago I went in knowing it was my battery, they told me no it was my alternator. Upon leaving, I called AAA the diagnostic did confirm it was my battery. So instead of AutoZone, making money off my battery AAA did. As of yesterday my neighbor had the same issue, he went to the same exact AutoZone and they told him it was not his battery it was his Alternator. I informed him of my experience and to get a second opinion. He went to his dealership and they did confirm it was his battery. never the alternator. Either the workers are extremely incompetent or misinformed or extremely lazy, not willing to make a battery sale or assist with labor. Please be warned.
