I wasn’t even asked questions about my car until around 5:00 PM, which makes it clear my car hadn’t been brought in at all—so much for being “next.” During this time, a walk-in customer dropped their car off, tipped, and had their vehicle completely serviced and finished before me. What’s even worse is that they themselves were confused why I was still sitting there, since I had an appointment and arrived before them. Honestly, beats me too. It was obvious that tipping determined priority, not appointment time. Poor communication, unfair service order, and a very disorganized experience. I would not recommend this location.

After a call from another Mavis in Elmont, Jesse agreed to take my car today. They were quite busy but I could see the care that they took with each customer. Phones were going nuts, walk in’s were abound and each person handled all inquiries with a smile and patience. I didn’t get the name of the gentleman who eventually rang me up (and let me know of some needed fluids for my car….no hard upsell but matter of fact) but we had the greatest talk about traveling while I was waiting on my car. He kept me updated and was just a pleasure. As was Jesse who I talked to when I came in. I have yet to go to a Mavis location and not be treated kindly and with respect. Especially as a woman. This is another great office and if I need to go back, I will def go to this one.
