After they took in my car and made me wait 20 minutes, they told me they don’t repair tires on EV vehicles due to the foam in the tires. When I told them that they had previously, recently, repaired one of my other tires, they stated it was a new policy. They tried to pressure me into buying a new tire for $440 and said that my tire could not be repaired. I went to Hempstead Discount Tire, and they fixed my tire for way less than a new tire and they did so professionally and efficiently. I would not recommend EV vehicle owners to go to this Mavis location as they are dishonest and try to take advantage of customers.
