Without feedbacks ( constructive or positive) none of us can make the needed adjustments, so we can do better. We were 100 miles away and another 100 more to get home on misaligned front wheels. We were concerned, very. I finally arrived to Team Mavis, Fishkill, NY. Team Member Jenna was welcoming, attentive, knowledgeable and professional. She's the right embassador for Team Mavis and keeps the brand and business model going. Big UPS! Our family road trip was safer because of her, reassuring and confident. Thanks Jenna. Mavis Team Staff. Respectfully, Manny

A screw punctured the front passenger side tire on a Sunday morning. Luckily Mavis was opened, I called, they said I can bring the car now. I had the tire protection plan and was jn and out in about an hour or so, with no charge

I had such a wonderful experience at Mavis Discount Tire (Fishkill), and it’s all thanks to Jenna at the front desk. From the moment I walked in, she was incredibly sweet, helpful, and genuinely courteous. She’s also impressively thorough — she didn’t miss a single detail and made sure I fully understood everything before moving forward. It’s rare these days to meet someone who not only knows their job well but also treats every customer with such kindness and patience. Jenna took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions without rushing me, and made sure I felt completely comfortable with the services being done. Her professionalism and warm personality turned what could have been a stressful errand into an easy, pleasant visit. You can tell she truly cares about the people who walk through the door, and that kind of customer service deserves to be recognized. Mavis is lucky to have her, and I’ll definitely be returning because of the experience she provided. If you want a smooth stress free experience, I highly recommend this location — and if you go, make sure to ask for Jenna. She’s a gem!

Avoid this Mavis Discount Tire in Fishkill, NY (774 Route 9) at all costs. Hands-down the worst tire shop experience I’ve had—poor equipment, broken promises, zero empathy, and rude staff. An elderly woman (in her 70s) approached me at the car wash next door. She was heading to a funeral in New Jersey and needed air in her tires due to cold weather. She explained she had already gone to Mavis and asked for help putting air in them, but they refused because they were “too busy with appointments”—no one would assist her even with something as simple as air. She didn’t know how to use the machine outside, so I offered to help. I went over to their free air machine (right outside the shop) to check my own tires first. The machine immediately broke my valve stem—air started leaking out badly right away. The woman pulled up and politely asked if I could put air in hers. I did it manually (she was very grateful and gave me a small tip I didn’t ask for), and she left happy. I went inside to report that their free air machine damaged my valve stem. A male employee (female staff there too) said they could fix it for $55 and promised to get me in “as soon as possible” with the next car. I trusted them, left my car, and walked to ShopRite for about an hour. When I returned, my car hadn’t been touched. I asked the woman at the counter what was going on—I had my son’s birthday dinner that night and couldn’t wait forever. She said “we have appointments, so you’ll have to wait.” I reminded her of the earlier promise—she just repeated “appointments” and brushed me off. When I got frustrated after over an hour with a tire damaged by their equipment, she accused ME of being disrespectful! I said I’d remove the tire myself and put on my spare. As I started in their lot, she ran out saying I “can’t do that here for insurance purposes.” So their faulty free air machine flats my tire, they won’t prioritize the fix despite promising, and I can’t even handle it myself? I was completely stuck. After over TWO HOURS, I carefully drove next door to the car wash (they had no issue), changed the tire in 15 minutes, put on the spare, and took the damaged tire to my usual Acura dealer for repair. This was just supposed to be a quick air top-off for low tires from the cold. Instead: they refused basic help to an elderly customer earlier, their free air machine broke my valve, they lied about quick service, showed no urgency for my family emergency, and the female employee was rude and dismissive. Worst customer service ever. I’ll never go back to this location and strongly recommend everyone else avoid it—especially in a rush or helping vulnerable people. Plenty of better tire shops around.
