  Excellent service and exemplary professionalism. Solid location, came here when I had a tire puncture and they got me sorted quickly & effectively. The manager on duty was to the point & honest, I will definitely come back to this location if I have any issues in the future. 10/10 would recommend.

  jason is the best! he helped me and gave me a discount in a time of need. he made my friend and i very comfortable and he was very respectful. highly recommend speaking to him regarding anything especially with flat’s.

  I had a great experience at Mavis Discount Tire thanks to Mickey. It was my first time visiting, and I came in with a reference from Jerry. From the moment I arrived, Mickey treated me with respect and professionalism. He took the time to understand my concerns and handled everything smoothly. Mickey went above and beyond to fix all the issues with my car tires and made sure everything was done properly. You can tell he really cares about his work and his customers. The whole process was easy and stress-free. Highly recommend this location, and if you can, ask for Mickey you’ll be in good hands.

  Headed to Mavis when my wipers randomly stopped working while heavily raining while close by. Jason at the front desk was able to provide potential suggestions of what the issue might be, but was transparent ahead of time that Mavis didn’t perform the type of work that may be required to fix, which I appreciate. Since it was going to be raining all day I was not able to safely drive home or to a safe spot to park overnight, and he offered to keep the car at the location that night until it was okay to drive again. Can’t speak to the work at this location but can’t speak enough about the customer service!!!

  Had an appt. this morning (04-08-26) for a NYS Inspection of my SUV. Came in a few minutes early. Was told they're too busy and drop off the car, they'll get to it later. I said o.k., no problem, I'm off work today. But when they saw my car they refused to inspect it. They said I had too dark, "illegal tints". At first I thought the mechanic was joking or maybe he just missed the NYS exemption certificate for tinted windows (small sticker on drivers side window). But I was told by the mechanic and another mechanic that walked up to us that the tint was illegal. I explained that I have a legal exemption (due to medical reasons) and a valid exemption certificate sticker clearly posted on the vehicles window. I've been having my car inspected for 5 years with the exemption certificate with no problems. I just figured I'll go to a new shop to get it inspected because Mavis is a little closer to home. I even said I'm a retired law enforcement officer and I'm not about to come into a NYS Certified Inspection garage and ask them do something illegal for my car. I went as far as to Google the law on my phone to provide proof and pulled up the NYS Vehicle Traffic Law on my phone and showed the the actual lawful exemption. The mechanic gave me a blank look and said I'd have to come back tomorrow and speak with the manager. And then the other mechanic said "It's 2026, they're strict about illegal tints." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. No one heard a word I said. I get that its abundantly clear they don't know anything about legal exemptions, but its shocking because this is supposedly a NYS Certified Inspection shop and they SHOULD know. I'm pissed that I made an appointment wasted my time at this shop. As explained, I have an authorized exemption certificate which inspectors are authorized to honor. At this point I'm considering filing a NYS DMV Vehicle Safety Report (VS-35) to to report ths inspection station.
