  Do NOT book at this location if your flight is scheduled to arrive remotely close to midnight. If your flight is delayed and you get in after midnight (when they close), you're SOL. I've been booking from this location once a month for the past five months and multiple times before. I've always been very happy with the service and cars I received from this location. However, on my last *reservation* it all went downhill. My flight from Houston was delayed over three hours due to ATC traffic flow restrictions at LGA so instead of getting in at 9PM, we arrived after midnight. To cut to the chase: me and another person WALKED to the combined facility only to be told we'd have to wait until they opened at 6AM. So for the city that never sleeps (while their return employees are sleeping in vehicles), they're closed for six hours. I ended up taking a Lyft to Avis (who IS open 24 hours) and renting from them. The National/Enterprise/Alamo driver wouldn't even give me a ride to Avis. I called National and they gave me a case number with a promise to hear from a LGA station manager. I never heard back. National: you let me down.

  From the airport shuttle pickup through until the early morning return process, this exceptional team at National restored my faith in customer service. The experience was professional, friendly, and by far the easiest part of my travel journey. Having experienced less-than ideal rentals from other car companies recently for LGA travel, the National team was truly intent on ensuring that every part of the process was stress-free and easy. From the shuttle driver to the counter staff, to the exit staff, and the return team, everyone was pleasant and beyond helpful. Will be a very easy decision where to rent next time I head to LGA!

  Everyone here deserves Recognition! I returned a car at 11:30 am. Realized I left my tax documents, panicked and came back to the facility at 4 pm. Elio and Sush were extremely helpful. Elio went back and forth through the lot to find the car that I returned. Sush looked through the office and found my documents. Kudos to the maintenance team for not throwing out something important like tax documents. Thank you!

  I had one of the best experiences on car rental in my life. I had a flat tire the day before so the day after I went to swap vehicles after going to 2 places and being told by 3 people that I will not be getting similar car to my Audi SUV,smaller vehicle felt unfair to me but I was like whatever I just need something to take me to from Charlotte Airport back to NYC. When I went to the National Counter And Jack Harris helped me out and went above and beyond to please me and take care of my needs and He gave a bigger SUV than what I had.....THATS WHAT I CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS FINEST...THANK YOU JACK

  Living in Queens, the National Car Rental by LGA is the reason we don't need to own a car. Not only is it super convenient with robust options, but the service we've received at the location has always been amazing. From those who help us select the right vehicle every time, to the friendly folks at the booth, to the team at vehicle return--everyone operates with an affable professionalism that's hard to find these days. And just want to send a special shout out to Marilyn, who truly goes above and beyond every time we're lucky enough to encounter her. She just radiates kindness and she always goes the extra mile to make sure we're in the perfect vehicle for whatever our needs are at the time. The last time I rented, Marilyn was headed off for her break, and she literally turned around and came back to help me once she saw me walk in. That's the kind of service that's really special, and the reason why we're so glad to have National at LGA as our home base!
