I visited this location on 01/12/26 regarding my rental reservation. During a discussion, the manager Mike abruptly told me to “get out” and ordered me to leave the premises.I left, but the way this was handled felt extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. A manager should be able to explain charges, answer questions, and de‑escalate concerns rather than shouting at a customer to leave.I am sharing this so others are aware of how customer concerns may be treated at this branch. I hope corporate reviews this incident, retrains staff on basic customer service, and ensures that future guests are treated with courtesy and respect.

Customer service at pickup was great; however, the Volvo S60 I was given was not safe—especially for driving in New York during cold weather. The tires were worn out and unsafe, and the front passenger seat belt was not working, which is a serious safety concern. The return process was also difficult. There was no available parking, and I had to park in an active driveway to drop off the keys. While the lockbox was a good idea, it didn’t fully make up for the inconvenience. Additionally, the rental shuttle was supposed to start pickups at 6:00 a.m., but no one was available. Because I had a flight to catch, we ended up taking an Uber at 6:05 a.m. to make it to the airport on time.

Im only giving 5 stars bc of Zedine. This young lady saved me from embarrassment! Lol... im going to an exclusive event, wanted to pull up in style and my son referred me to Sixt. I arrived for a BMW jeep AND THE FIRST GIRL GAVE A "comparable car" a MINI it's called, made by BMW.... WHEN I TELL YOU, THE first girl kept saying, "nope, nothing we can do, that's all that's available" THE car was weird. The functions were weird.... I WAS JUST STANDING in the parking lot pissed and disappointed trying to determine if I should just cancel the whole rental..... Then Zedine, who had to move 2 cars for me to get out asked, "what's the matter?" I TOLD HER AND SHE SAID ILL BE RIGHT BACK..... AND CAME BACK INB5 MINUTES WITH THE CAR IVWAS LOOKING FOR 🙏🏼.... THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS BEST!!!! ZEDINE IS ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS THIS LOCATION IS THRIVING!!!!! I KNOW SHE IS BC SHE KNOWS THE CONCEPT OF GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! IM ONLY GOING BACK BC OF ZEDINE.... im ONLY WRITING THIS REVIEW BC OF HER PROFESSIONAL, BRIGHT PERSONA AND CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT MADE MY DAY!!! Thank you

Overall happy with the service at the Sixt LGA location. The people working the desk from the workers working the return area were all very friendly and warm! Special shoutout to Vanessa at the service desk (5 stars for her service) and Farruh at the return area (also 5 stars)!
The only reason I am rating an overall of 4 stars instead of 5 was because the Mercedes I was given wreaked of cigarette smoke. Also the windshield wiper fluid ran out shortly after I left the location.
Other than that, I would definitely rent from this location again and would recommend friends and family to do so as well!
