Originally, my appointment was scheduled for May 2nd, but I was informed that the replacement glass arrived damaged and the appointment needed to be rescheduled. While inconvenient, I completely understood and accommodated the change. My appointment was then rescheduled for May 6th as a mobile service appointment. Prior to the appointment, I received a call asking if I could come into the Walden location instead of utilizing the mobile service I had originally scheduled. Although the purpose of booking mobile service was due to my schedule constraints, I still attempted to accommodate the request. Unfortunately, I had an emergency meeting arise at work. I work with children with disabilities, and my role requires me to respond to time-sensitive situations, so leaving work unexpectedly was not possible. Because of that, I reverted back to the originally scheduled mobile service. I had also checked the weather in advance, as I understand rain can impact windshield installations. The forecast showed no rain expected between 1 PM and 5 PM, which aligned with the scheduled service window of 1 PM to 6 PM. The technician, Jalen, attempted to call me while I was in a meeting, which I unfortunately missed. He then texted asking again if I could come into the shop. I explained that I could no longer leave work and reiterated that the weather remained clear and dry. At that point, rather than working toward a solution, I was simply told that I would need to reschedule again. What was most frustrating was the complete lack of communication afterward. I explained that I have a 13-year-old actively involved in sports who rides in this vehicle regularly, and that I truly needed this replacement completed. I even mentioned I may need to seek another mobile provider due to the repeated delays. Despite this, I received no further response from the technician and was left uncertain whether someone was still coming or if the appointment had effectively been canceled. As of 10:15 PM, there had still been no rain yesterday, and my windshield remained completely dry. Based on the conditions, the service could have been completed within the scheduled window. Instead, the overall interaction felt dismissive, unprofessional, and extremely frustrating. This was my first experience with Safelite, and unfortunately, it left a very negative impression. I understand unexpected situations happen, but communication, professionalism, and customer service matter — especially when customers are making repeated efforts to accommodate scheduling changes.

Horrible customer service. I made a mobile appointment which they use to market and advertise. But they called me an 1 hour before my appointment was to end and said they were too busy in the store , and ask me to come in, which I was not able too because I work. Jalen( technician) said appointments in house take presidents over mobile appointments. Than I reschedule for the next day for mobile. They called again and said because it may snow they couldn’t come out. It was sunny and do not snow. They should not offer mobile if they cannot accommodate. Horrible customer service. Don’t waste your money with them. 0 stars

Scheduling was quick and work was done quickly. They worked with me to drop the car off the night before and pay over the phone to pick it up later that night because of my work schedule. Pricing was fair. I’m giving two starts because of how my vehicle was treated. Two molded plastic trim pieces that blend the hood cowling to the windshield weather strip were ripped off, breaking the mounting tabs and were simply set back in place, loosely. The windshield wiper arms were not reinstalled correctly, causing them to rest on the plastic cowling and stop a few inches short of where they should when they cycle. The last thing I’ve noticed so far is that both of my front doors now have paint chips where they meet the windshield weather strip when shut. The weather strip is marked up and indented from a tool directly adjacent to the paint chips so I can only assume they used the door as a leverage point to pry to the corners of the windshield weather seal up off the glass. The windshield itself seems to have come out great though.
