  I have purchased several vehicles at this location over the years. Top notch all around, from managers to finance. You always walk out satisfied. We just purchased a new trailblazer for our son . They did a great job with everything and the process was excellent. See Bill Powell for your car needs, great guy to deal with. You are always in great hands at Basil !

  Well my car was towed in so I realized it may take longer to get worked on but 5 weeks seemed a little excessive. Also, other than my initial call from the service agent about what was wrong, I had to call weekly to find out what the status of my car was...First they needed parts, next they were still waiting on the parts, then the part was bad and they needed to reorder, took a week to get the new part. Finally on a Friday the part came in and all was good, they would finally do the work..Took until the following Thursday for my car to be done..Terrible customer service.

  They friendly and professional. It was my first time there. They were able to get everything I requested done. I had a NYS Inspection, oil change, tire rotation and the antifreeze changed and front end alignment. Great job. I highly recommend taking your vehicle to Joe Basil on Transit Rd. for your vehicle needs.

  Worst experience ever if I was you I would go to a different dealership, bought used traverse from them have had multiple things go wrong with it, which I understand things go wrong I had extended warranty to cover things, had clunking noise in front waited all day they said it was sway bar & replaced it went to leave parking lot it still was doing it then they said oh its the tie rod & replaced that, now 3 months later have such a bad clunking it literally feels like axle is going to fall off made appt which was a month away and dealt with it for a month made it to my appt in which they couldn't get it fixed which i then had to have them pick me back up, then next morning I called to see are they going to fix it today they said they couldn't do it today but mon or Tues I said well why not today there reply was well it's not fair to others that have appts. Today , I was like well its not fair to me who waited a month for my appt & not my fault it wasn't fixed & Im a registered nurse & need my vehicle to get to & from work that was the whole point of buying it from you, not to mention we were supposed to leave early Sunday morning to go to north Carolina, so then they said well we can do it Saturday if you drop it off today & I was like ok so how am I getting to & from work they're reply was well you would have to pay for a rental, I originally only bought vehicles from jim ball because any issues with a vehicle I bought from them they would be like we keep our customers happy can we offer you a used vehicle off our lot to drive until yours is fixed, & even the one time I was looking at a fully loaded Yukon with leather to buy they said here, take it for the weekend while we fix your truck, it was a benifit for them because I ended up buying the Yukon, but Basil, nothing its too bad sooo sad , so like I said you're better off going somewhere else

  I leased my first vehicle here. 2015 Chevy Impala. On my way home from the dealer- my check engine light came on. I had multiple appointments with their shop. They apparently replaced my catalytic converter. 14 months later my check engine light is on again, a code reading for my catalytic converter. This has been a nightmare. When I called the shop I was told there’s no guarantee they’ll cover this with my warranty. Extremely frustrated since day one with this shop and service.
