- JJJosephOct 9, 20251.0Enterprise Rental Cars, Commack, NY: I found their business practices unwise, and I dealt with passive aggressive employees who did not appear to be interested in satisfying me as one of their customers. First they gave me a crappy 48,000 mile Nissan Altima that had large dents and scatches throughout the entire vehicle. The exterior and windows inside and out were so dirty I had difficulty seeing out of them while driving. When I asked to review the damages to the exterior of the vehicle, the Enterprise employee refused. She just kept saying they were documented in her computer system. I asked to review the computer system with her and perhaps even obtain a printout of the recorded damages to compare them to the damages I was seeing on the car. Again, she refused and told me to take pictures myself in case there were any discrepancies upon returning the vehicle. I told her I was uncomfortable with accepting a verbal statement that "everything was already in the system" and wanted something in writing confirming the damages. Again, she refused to provide anything in writing and just continued with her passive aggressive attitude confirming to me should couldn't have cared less. I asked for a manager but of course none were on-sight, so I spoke with another employee who just rattled off the same pat answers. Stranded without a car, I just took really good photographs and later contacted the Nationwide Enterprise Customer Service line. There response was literally, "O my God, O my God, O my God, I can't believe they would treat a customer like that". They also confirmed, that was not Enterprise's business practices and procedures, and they sent a formal complaint up to Enterprise Corporate HQ's for their review. That was literally the worst car rental experience I've had in my 58 years. The changes of me returning to Enterprise of Commack, NY.......... 0%.
