- DADavid AlthiserNov 6, 20251.0Long story, will try to be brief, this is not a shot at the work performed but a shot at the warranty practices of Mavis. Took my car in for lower control arms, they sourced them from a local advanced auto, The part has a two year warranty. After a year they have failed. Mavis has a 12 month parts and labor warranty that is not on their receipt. Because these parts were sold direct to Mavis, Advanced Auto will not warranty unless it is to Mavis. So in this situation even though the parts have a 2 year warranty Mavis and Advanced Auto are off the hook. Just a general be careful message. Update to post, previous to this post I spoke with the store several times and customer service twice. I did reply to their requested response and spoke with a gentlemen named Josh, he was very empathetic, respectful,honest and refreshing to speak with. I don’t know where this will end up and I will try to post short updates but 5 stars to Josh.
