We were greeted outside promptly by a kind employee who told us which bay to park outside of. We waited almost a half hour before we were moved into our bay, told someone would be right with us, and we waited almost another ten minutes while that employee stepped into the waiting room to sip his coffee while looking out at us. Finally, Naquan (manager) came to our vehicle. He was less than friendly from the get go. A chance of possible mistaken identity, but he was not kind and courteous in the very least and was friendly with other customers. He barely spoke to us and mumbled when he did. Owen, the assistant was very kind through the whole visit. As long time customers, we will not be back as we did not feel welcomed in the very least.

I love the convenience of Valvoline, the only complaint is the push for opening my glove box for a filter I change myself. I even told them I change it myself (it’s $15 online) and 10 minutes of my time rather than $55 at valvoline. The guy taking it out keeps telling me it’s cheaper for them than the dealership, and I said I do it myself and he made a comment that’s it’s easier for me to sit and watch him do it than me to do it, respectfully I didn’t ask you to do this; your boss did after I kindly informed the boss I do it myself. I understand there’s a job to do, but if a customer informs you they do their own maintenance on something, it’s okay you check it; but don’t hit with the guilt trip because you’re having a bad day. There was a lot of standing around as if they didn’t know how to help, waiting for direction from their boss.
