    I recently leased a vehicle from Basil Ford. It was my first time looking at vehicles on my own and it was a subpar experience. The salesman worked with any requests but scoffed when anything was mentioned outside of the presented offer. When signing paperwork with Finance I asked a few questions and felt talked down to with the responses. Right after paperwork was signed we walked out to the lot to my new lease and the salesman pointed out a dent in the bumper. I test drove the car earlier in the day and inspected the exterior and noticed extremely minor scratches but nothing on the bumper. I left for a few hours after the test drive to gather paperwork, so the bumper damage was quite the surprise. They got me in timely for a loaner car and fixed the bumper but again customer service was not outstanding. I went with Basil Ford based off of highly rated recommendations and I was not wowed-ed by the service.

    Went in for the Works oil check package and inspection. Efficient on both services, but they did not properly check oil level via dip stick. Down over a quart. Had to go back and get it properly filled. They also need to take down truck service center lights/billboard off of the old close building , way to much confusion on where to take super duty vehicles. Friendly staff though and no issues in fixing situation.

    I’d give 0 stars if I could. Their service dept claims that I had a cracked rim and a bulged tire after I drove the car with those same wheels for 14 months with no issues or vibration or loss of tire PSI. Including road trips to Toronto and Cleveland and South Carolina. It was a huge crack covering the full circumference of the rim that caused the new tire to immediately lose 20 PSI. I think their tech did this damage by twisting the rim when he removed the tire. He never marked the bulged tire before putting it in storage, so he had to mount all the tires on the rims to find the bulged tire. I had them switch out my summer tires for winter tires and halfway home in a driving rainstorm, I see that my TPMS sensors were not reset, the tires were still showing “summer” in the car computer, and the tires were overinflated by 5 PSI on 3 of the tires, and 1 tire was under-inflated. I paid $35 per tire for mounting, balancing, etc and the tech didn’t adjust the PSI? How? Currently waiting for the service manager’s email address to complain. Definitely moving my tires to a different location in spring 2026 and would not recommend this service shop.

    Basil was great and did only the work I wanted done and needed done. They weren’t pushy and didn’t try to get me to pay for extra services I didn’t want. I just dropped off my vehicle and they called me after looking over the vehicle and we discussed all my options before they did any work I might not have wanted done at this time. I was able to pickup my vehicle the same day and was very happy to find the car was very clean inside. I’d recommend them to anyone looking to have their vehicle serviced here!

    Spent $400 on a repair to only find out it didn’t fix anything because of misdiagnosis! I immediately mentioned this issue because the issue was noticeable literally right after I started the car from the dealership, and told them that the issue wasn’t fixed. I told them to provide me a refund as the issue wasn't fixed or charge me the diagnostics fee at least. But they said they couldn’t because they technically fixed something. Why couldn’t you tell me there were other things messed up before you made me spend $400!!?! Its because they misdiagnosed the issue!!!!
