I have lost all faith in your service department!! They had my truck for 12 days to fix a recall door latch. Told me several times over the course of the time that they were trying to get it fixed. I have bought or leased many vehicles from basil but you have now lost my business. Sorry Jim Velenz and his son

I brought my vehicle here for collision repair in December, and it has now been over a month, almost 40 days since the repair process began. I was originally given a completion date of December 31, 2025. Since then, the estimated completion date has changed multiple times (including January 2, January 7, January 8, and now January 9). Each time I followed up, I was told that a new issue had been discovered, which caused another delay. I understand that unexpected issues can happen during repairs, but it has been frustrating that these issues were not identified earlier so the repair timeline could be finalized upfront. This raises a fair question about the initial inspection process whether the vehicle could have been more thoroughly evaluated at the beginning so all required repairs and parts could be identified at once, instead of discovering new problems each time the completion date approached. What has been most difficult is the lack of a clear and reliable completion date. Rather than being told honestly whether the vehicle could be completed, I continued to receive revised dates that were later missed. If the repair cannot be completed, I would appreciate clear communication instead of continued uncertainty and waiting. I hope that management will review the situation and help bring the repair to completion as soon as possible. I am still hopeful this can be resolved promptly and professionally.

My experience started in August, I knew the vehicle I wanted. I had visited a couple dealerships, no one came to greet me as I was looking at cars. At Basil, Harrison immediately came out to me, I told him what I was looking for. He took time to dig out the exact model I was looking for, but I ultimately decided I wanted a different color. They searched far for me and kept in constant contact. I ended up ordering a new Maverick. It took months to come in. Along the way they alerted me of a few options, without pressure, but continued to update me on my vehicle status. It finally arrived and I love it. The paperwork was quick and painless. I was given some warranty options without pressure. Couldn’t be happier about the buying experience. -Peter Y

I honestly have no idea how these guys are still in business, every time I bring my car to their service center, it either gets worse or the problem isn’t fixed. I originally called to make an appointment about my battery prematurely dying and was told I didn’t need an appointment. Had my car towed in and was told that it wasn’t a battery problem and that an appointment was needed. Frustrated when told since I had to wait 2 weeks because the engine noise was the suspect. Work was finally completed and my battery is still prematurely failing on me so once again these guys did not fix my original complaint. So angry since once again I’m going to have to spend more money.

Bought a 2011 2SS Camaro with 19k Miles earlier this year. Was told it was a perfect car. Flew from Michigan to purchase vehicle Tires needed replacing ASAP Water instead of coolant in radiator. If I didn't get it inspected after purchase I would have a cracked block right now. Needs a tune, showing over 20 ECM codes. Knocking sound upon startup. I've driven the car 3 times since I purchased it. Sales Manager said I would be refunded for the coolant flush, never refunded me and now ghosts me. I will make sure and put this review anywhere I possibly can.
