- SSShyann SmithSep 18, 20251.0Ordered rotors and pads for my vehicle. Put my vehicle information in and was told the parts were an "exact fit". They were not the right parts. Brought them in to return them and was given a receipt and told the money would go back on the card I used for the purchase. Then I received an email with a digital gift card. Went back in the store and asked why it went on a gift card and not the card I made the purchase with, as I already got the correct parts and just wanted my money back.. and I was given a phone number to call and was told they'll send a check.. there was No problem taking my money, before I even pick up the order. the order I pick up is wrong because the website was wrong. So I had to purchase more parts, costing more money. And now have to call and most likely wait for a check in the mail which will take 7-10 business days.. such a joke! It's 2025. The whole point of an online order is for convenience, this experience was everything but that.. never again.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
