  Very good experience buying two new cars from Barry Lang at Lacy Subaru. There is no pressure to buy, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly and Barry made the entire process easy. This is the best new car purchase I have ever made in 50 years. The 2026 Subaru Outback is a great car. It’s loaded with features and performs flawlessly.

  My husband and I recently visited RC Lacy in Catskill looking to trade in our Forester and purchase a 2026 Crosstrek. We were greeted by Justin Lacy who was professional, informative, patient and very kind to us. We felt very comfortable as he answered all of our questions. It was an absolute pleasure buying our new car there and would not hesitate in any future dealings.

  I gave a good review after buying my 2020 Subaru Outback in August 2025. I need to change my review. I will preface by saying that this was the nicest newest car I've ever owned. The vehicle was a 2020 with 41k on it for $24k, and with tax closer to $27k. In the 5 months that I owned the car I put 7,000 more miles on it and then I hit a deer going about 50mph. My "new to me" Outback is totaled. My insurance pay out? 19,999.84. I sent the company my sales receipt and asked how the value of my car had decreased by over 6,000 dollars in 5 months. My rep quoted me prices from other lots that were in line with my vehicle. She then explained that most lots inflate the cost of their cars. My takeaway is that Lacy inflated the cost of my 2020 Outback and now I'm up a creek. I won't be able to get a comparable vehicle. For me? Lesson learned and I will not be giving Lacy's my buisness again. Looks like I will be getting an older used car again with higher miles after I pay off the $17,000 I still owe on my note. For you? Don't get excited by a nice car and a seemingly nice sales associate. Look elsewhere and exhaust yourself with research!
