  This review is long overdue but these guys are grubby and incompetent . They add alot of hidden fees and the tires they sold me were damaged. ALL OF THEM. so a quick story time, I got a used car, and I got tires for them. Since I got these tires I been leaking air out of all 4 tires. I thought my rims were cracked and I always planned on getting new rims. Some tires leaked faster than others like the back right. I got the oil change package with them too. Not only did they not get me enough oil they charged me $5.04 for getting me the right oil filter 👁️👄👁️. I should have known when the receptionist kept saying Katuro instead of Quattro. Anyways, when I finally got around to welding my rims cause the leaks got annoying, the rims never had any cracks. The tires had been leaking around where they meet the rim. Like the wall of the tires were damaged, all 4. No nails, just sold me some already damaged tires. Also I was looking at the receipt they add so many bs fees. Charged me to get me the correct filter, for balancing which is normally free, and tire recycling. Get your tires done at an independent shop and oil change, mavis got some issues

  Staff lies about wait time, made an appointment at 10am left at 3pm. For simple job. They said they’ll throw in a free alignment with 4 tire purchase and they lied. Never did an alignment just because they had other cars to do. Very deceptive. Incredibly unhappy with the whole experience.

  I highly recommend this shop excellent work brought me truck in for work a nice young man attended me they speak Spanish and English and are very helpful and professional they are reasonable with there prices

  I ordered some tires for my car to have put on from here. Everyone was very friendly and very knowledgeable and the tires weren't too pricey as other places that I checked before coming to this location. I mainly dealt with a beautiful young lady by the name of Jess. She was very helpful and also worked with me price wise on some other work I needed done to my vehicle. I can tell she is a very hard worker and has GOOD ENERGY!. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking for some new tires or to have some work done to your vehicle.

  Warning: long review. 🙂 I decided to come to Mavis on Penn Ave on 3/25/26 to replace my front left tire that had a big bubble due to these horrible potholes in nyc. Both John and Dave were very helpful and answered all my questions. It became busy in the afternoon and I had to wait a longer since the mechanic went to lunch but other than that, service was great. A day later I was on the highway doing 70+ and felt lots of shaking and the tpms light came on flashing for a few seconds then turned off. So I brought my car back to Mavis on 3/30/26 thinking the balancing of the tires weren’t done right. (There was a miscommunication where I thought they balanced all the tires but they just balanced the one they replaced). My bad. Jess asked me why I was back in. She took the time to listen to my concerns and was kind enough to say because of the miscommunication we will balance all 4 tires as a courtesy. I thanked her and she continued to say, but I do want to show you something. I followed her to the back and she found a small bubble on the right front tire. I then went to the rear tires and did my own careful inspection and found a small bubble on both rear tires. 😑They were small and hard to miss at first glance but I noticed them. I think Jess saw the look on my face and felt bad for me. lol But I couldn’t have asked for a more understanding and caring rep like her. She price matched the tires from their website and worked with my budget so I can get 3 new tires. This winter was brutal, but I didn’t think it would take out all of my tires! Uuffff anyway, I got the warranty also because these streets are not getting better any time soon. Jess also quoted me a great price for an alignment that I’ll be getting in the next month or so. I’m a legit Mavis customer now. 😊 Thank you so much for your great service!
