  Overall, I am quite satisfied with the rental. There were some difficulties with the cars themselves but the customer service shown to my family was above par and should be recognized. As for the cars: the first car we received while in Brooklyn was a smoker car and after driving it for the first day my family was not feeling well and we needed to switch it out. We visited a rental location outside of Poughkeepsie, New York. The staff there there was wonderful and quickly switched us to a minivan. But this minivan had not been cleaned and showed significant signs of wear and stickiness all over where people had spilled things. Although that was not good, a worse factor was that the transmission in the van sounded horrible. When it shifted into different gears, it made a horrible grinding/growling sound which could be felt in the gas pedal and in the floor of the car. Since we had a lot of miles left on our road trip, we decided to go back and switch it out again. This time the staff switched us out to a newer model of van and the drive was just fine, although there was a slight marijuana smell (The smell was tolerable). So overall I am satisfied although the cars themselves had issues with cleanliness and maintenance that could have been better. The staff we dealt with were above par when it came to making sure that my family was happy. Although at one point I was told that I probably can't switch out cars anymore because I'm only allowed a certain amount even though it wasn't my fault that the cars were in such bad shape. I especially want to call out someone by the name of Jeremy, who is the manager who received the car in Boston airport. He sympathied greatly with our issues and gave minor discount on our bill. Also, I messed up and left some personal car keys behind in the rental car and he worked with me to make sure I could recover them and still get me on my flight on time. He was incredible! Thank you again and I will likely still use Enterprise for my future rentals.

  I’ve rented from this location more than a dozen times. On about 4–5 occasions, they either didn’t have a car available for my reservation, asked me to wait for an hour or two, offered to send me to the airport at their expense, or provided a different vehicle than what I originally booked—often a downgrade, which was honestly frustrating. Despite that, I still choose to give this location 5 stars because of the team working here. They are consistently professional and genuinely friendly. Whenever issues come up, they do their best to find a solution and always apologize for the inconvenience. Enterprise/National should definitely recognize this team for their hard work, especially considering the constant mismatch between car supply and demand. Everyone here has been great—especially Ben, who is incredibly friendly and even remembers returning customers from months ago.
